Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
You in a vast forest. With a zillion trees. And you cannot see the forest for the trees. The world in which we live is so extraordinarily complex. Billions of people. Many, many, many organizations and groups. Trillions of thoughts and actions every day. So complex. And you can only apprehend an infinitesimally miniscule fraction of all the interconnected elements that make up this living tapestry. It is so extraordinarily complex. Beyond comprehension.
Nobody can possibly get a handle on it. And yet we are constantly judging. Judging, judging, judging. And even our judgments that end up being validated are nowhere near close! They just seem better than other judgments. No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him. Trust. Believe.
Lean not on your own understanding.
Observation is power. Appreciation and trust even better. Judgment is weakness.
Live, love, create, give, laugh and then some more, enjoy, rejoice. Repeat.
